Donated 58 refurbished computer sets!
Thanks to the cooperation of humanitarian organizations Society Spirit of Hour (Slovenia) and Caritas Bosnia and Herzegovina, 58 refurbished computer sets were successfully donated to schools and organizations that provide support to children, young people and socially vulnerable categories of the population.
Computer equipment was previously collected as a donation, refurbished and prepared for new use, with the aim of ensuring better access to technology and education, improving access to education and providing better working and learning conditions.
The donation was received by:
- JU Elementary School Stupari, Kladanj – 7 sets
- JU Elementary School Kladanj – 2 sets
- JU Children's Kindergarten "Edina Čamdžić", Kladanj – 1 set
- JU MSŠ Kladanj – 5 sets
- SUMERO, Vogošća – 5 sets
- JRS Sarajevo – 1 set
- Elementary School "Safet-beg Bašagić", Mahala, Breza – 15 sets
- Mixed Secondary School "Mehmedalija Mak Dizdar", Breza – 15 sets
- Association of Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities "Be My Friend", Jablanica – 2 sets
All donated equipment is second-hand, but fully functional and ready for use. This donation is part of an international initiative for the refurbishment and reuse of computer equipment for humanitarian purposes, which simultaneously contributes to digital inclusion and environmental protection by extending the lifespan of IT equipment.
