Young people are in the lead: As many as 94% of people aged 18-29 own at least one Fast Tech device!
In
anticipation of International E-Waste Day, research warns of "Fast Tech" - small and affordable electronic devices that we buy and discard without thinking.
Key facts:
- 94% of young people (18–29 years old) own at least one such device.
- Charging devices and lighting are found in as many as 83% of households.
- The main motives for shopping are low price (55%) and promotions (36%).
- As many as 22% of people buy these products without a real need.
♻️ FAST TECH: DON'T THROW AWAY, BRING! - Before throwing away old electronics, think about recycling and take care of the environment.
