Company ZEOS eko-sistem d.o.o.
The first operator of the waste electrical and electronic equipment management system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, authorized by the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism. The system operator is a legal entity to which importers, distributors and manufacturers (System Obligors) have transferred the obligation of reporting, managing and disposing of waste electrical and electronic equipment.
Purpose of establishment
- to provide all System Obligors with equal and more favorable business conditions,
- to avoid paying the penalty fees prescribed by the rulebook, and instead pay lower fees defined by the System Operator for the first placement of new electrical and electronic equipment
- to facilitate the reporting process for System Obligors regarding the sale or placement of new electrical and electronic equipment
- to establish a quality and sustainable disposal system (treatment and recycling) for electrical and electronic waste
- to provide legal support and free consultations for existing and future System Obligors

Mission
Financing, managing, improving and promoting the process of e-waste disposal and recycling, in compliance with legal regulations, with the aim of protecting the environment and ensuring the sustainable development of the e-waste disposal process for System Obligors and all other holders.
Vision
Our vision is to create a conscious community that recognizes the danger of improper disposal and treatment of e-waste. We want to establish a stable system of e-waste information and recycling in our country, which will provide free recycling for System Obligors, legal entities, our citizens and future generations to come, with a clean and safe environment free of this type of waste.
Goal
To provide quality service and build good relationships with our clients. To maintain the status of the largest and most recognizable e-waste collection System Operator in BiH.
Collection and disposal of EE waste
- Providing locations for placing bins or containers in companies
- Organizing e-waste collection days with employees
- Informing citizens and employees about the proper disposal of devices, through cooperation and promotion on social media or the internet through articles for the public.
Awareness-raising projects and campaigns
We regularly conduct educational and promotional campaigns on the importance of proper disposal of electrical waste and resource conservation. Projects are carried out with legal entities, institutions, schools and other organizations.
Partners can participate through:
- Joint promotional activities, preparation of materials, creation of various educational PDF materials for print or electronic use
- Media support and sharing of information on their channels
- Support in conducting competitions, including awarding prizes to schools or other types of financing, e.g. reforestation
- Opening the doors of their institutions for educational visits

Donations and reuse of functional devices
Through our initiative "Technology for Hope", we collect functional devices or those requiring minor repairs, up to a maximum age of 7 years, and in cooperation with organizations such as Pomozi.ba, we forward them to the population or institutions in need.
Partners can offer:
- Donating devices or device parts (cable, RAM, HDD/SSD, keyboard, mouse, laptop, computer)
- Joining in logistical support or volunteering to repair devices
- Promoting or organizing humanitarian actions and events for collection

We are non-profit
ZEOS eko-sistem d.o.o. is registered as a private company in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, officially authorized by the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism as a system operator (EPR scheme) for waste electrical and electronic equipment management (WEEE). Although formally established as a company, ZEOS Eko-Sistem operates on a non-profit basis, which is clearly defined by the founder's statute, operating exclusively in the public interest and without the intention of generating profit for its owners.
Our core mission is environmental protection through the establishment and improvement of the electrical and electronic waste collection and recycling system, as well as the implementation of an educational foundation along with activities to raise public awareness about environmental conservation and protection among citizens.
All generated revenues are reinvested in the development and maintenance of the system, green economy and environmental protection projects, educational programs and strengthening local community capacities. ZEOS eko-sistem does not distribute profit or dividends to its owners - instead, all resources are directed towards achieving socially beneficial goals.
In this way, ZEOS eko-sistem fully meets the criteria relating to the status of a "non-profit legal entity".
